Together with our eight other R&D Centers around the world, AstraZeneca R&D Boston is focused on developing innovative new therapies within the cancer and infectious disease areas. This exciting new facility also serves as home to our leading-edge North American Enabling Science and Technology Center.

Completed in the Spring of 2000, AstraZeneca R&D Boston's striking new facility reflects the innovative environment of our leading-edge pharmaceutical research. It is an environment that truly encourages a collaborative spirit and enhances the exchange of ideas.

Contemporary in every sense of the word -- from the distinctive architectural dynamics to the world-class science within -- our new center is located in close proximity to Boston's renowned academic, technological, and business centers.

Comprising 180,000 sq. ft. in total, state-of-the-art laboratories and scientists' offices flow seamlessly into one another providing opportunities for both visual and verbal contact with ongoing experiments and colleagues respectively.
