Heywood Hospital is a community-oriented and supported not-for-profit acute care hospital governed by a local Board of Trustees. Our mission reflects the views and ideals of, and is upheld by, our trustees, incorporators, employees, physicians, and volunteers. Heywood Hospital serves those who live or work in Gardner, Winchendon, Ashburnham, Westminster, Templeton, and Hubbardston, and others in need of our services. We provide services without regard to sex, race, age, creed, or financial status, and strive to meet the special needs of the physically, or mentally challenged. We also provide a broad range of high quality medical, surgical, obstetrical, pediatric and psychiatric services on an impatient and outpatient basis.
